Our R&D team pushed the size/performance ratio past the edge of the envelope to create a device that fits perfectly in your jacket pocket. With a 50m search strip width, group check, marking function, and an automatic revert-to-transmit mode, the EVO5 is jam packed with all of the essential functions needed to rescue an avalanche victim.

Equipped with a backlit screen and a speaker that emits a precise, modulated beep, this transceiver will efficiently and effectively guide you to the burial zone.

• Search Bandwidth: 50m Search Bandwidth (The search bandwidth corresponds to the width of the area "scanned" by the device during a search. The larger the search bandwidth, the greater the area covered by the device. It is often used to compare the performance of devices.)
• Automatic Return to Transmission (Timer): During a search, in case of a secondary avalanche, the automatic return to transmission function switches the device back to transmission mode automatically, without user intervention. The return to transmission can be done either by a timer, i.e., after a period of inactivity by the user, or by a motion detector, after a period without movement of the device.
• Interference Management: Interference management optimizes the device's performance in a search environment "polluted" by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the device automatically reduces the search bandwidth to focus on the signal of the searched device, ignoring parasitic frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user.
• Efficient Search: Automatic Gain Control: this technology allows dynamic signal management for more efficient searches in multi-victim scenarios.
• Group Check mode including control of transmission frequency.
• Marking function to identify buried victims already located.
• 3-Victim display with "+" indication beyond 3 victims.
